GlacialTech launched the latest IGLOO 5710 Silent and IGLOO 5710 PWM CPU cooler for Intel CPU’s. The unique design incorporates a specially designed heatpipe combination of three pipes that dissipate the heat from the CPU directly into the heatsink fins. From there, the fan quietly and efficiently brings the temperature down. The entire heatsink only weighs in at 485 grams (Well within Intel’s safe CPU specification of 550 grams for a CPU cooler). The Silent version has a low decibel (19dB), high volume (35.8 CFM) fan which is 92mmx92mmx25mm in dimension and runs at an ultra-quiet speed of 1600 RPM.

PQI have officially announced a 240-pin DDR3-1333 using a 8-bit prefetch buffer design operating at a clock speed of 1333MHz with a low 1.5~1.7V low power consumption. In fact, DDR3 modules can operate at twice (800~1600MHz) the speed of DDR2 modules, JEDEC specifications. Improvements over DDR2 modules have also been made on ODT, OCD and CAS. In addition to improvements, newly added asynchronous RESET and SRT power management mechanisms further ensures better performance and efficiency.
